Janiss Garza, FitCat’s publisher and editor in chief, will be speaking on a panel this Wednesday, September 16, for the Publishers Association of Los Angeles. The topic is “The Pleasures and Perils of Indie Publishing,” and her fellow panelist include Maggie Marr, Carolyn Howard-Johnson, and Gerald Everett Jones. Moderating is Robin Quinn. They will be discussing the good and bad of indie publishing — the rewards and mistakes, and what they’ve learned along the way.
It all takes place beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Veterans Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230. Admission is free to members of PALA and $15 for non-members.
